December 5th @ Thee Parkside
Sick Wolf, Maniac Martyrs and the Meat Sluts take over Thee Parkside on Saturday, Dec. 5th starting @ 3 p.m.
This is a benefit show for the Lyon Martin Health Services.
Lyon-Martin Health Services was founded in 1979 by a group of medical providers and health activists as clinic for lesbians who lacked access to nonjudgmental, affordable health care. Named after Phyllis Lyon and Del Martin, feminists and well-known LGBTQ civil rights activists, the clinic soon became a model for culturally sensitive community-based health care. Since 1993, Lyon-Martin also has provided case management and primary healthcare in programs specifically designed for very low-income and uninsured women with HIV. In 2007, the organization added sliding-scale mental health services for our patients. Today, Lyon-Martin provides primary and preventive healthcare services to around 2000 patients. Currently, 39% of our patients are people of color; 14% are transgender and 41% self-identify as lesbian or bisexual; 84% live below 200% of the federal poverty level and 14% are homeless. Fifty-eight percent of our patents' appointments address mental health needs.
This show is all ages and is going to rock your socks off.
There will be food, drink, and good times had by all.
Don't miss this one. Your presence is all that is needed to support a GREAT cause!!!

Thursday, Dec. 3rd @ the SF Eagle Tavern
Get ready to wear out your dancing shoes. Sick Wolf is performing @ the Eagle Tavern Thursday night along with Shake Well. The bands usually start around 9 p.m..
So far it's just us, Sick Wolf, and Shake Well on the bill, but, a third band will most likely be added on.
Shake Well, (pics above) are an awesome sounding rock band from BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wisconsin. This is a band that is guaranteed to grab your attention and force you to shake your booty. They are on Myspace, so if you would like to give 'em a listen to before just click HERE.
Warming the stage up for them is us, Sick Wolf. It is our first show with our new drummer "Buck Ettee" and we are all excited to tear it up for you.
Although Sick Wolf has played the Eagle Tavern before, this is the first time with the new line-up, and, in the opinion of Jack Spade. 'This is the best the band has ever been.'
Dust off them dancin' shoes and have a ball.
For a measly 5 bucks you can experience a Thursday night like no other.
Let the bartenders Brian and Doug get you toasted, relax in the bars GIANT back patio which offers a nice fire pit to keep you warm, and rock out with us.
